Returning to old themes....

I have a problem. I never want to throw anything away. Like this pillowcase that keeps popping up in my work. Or these two girls since I made a pattern of them...and have several cut outs of them. So certain things just continue to pop up, but never in a row for some reason.

I'm working on a big painting right now. I started a whole different thing and then painted over it, and then started painting over that....but there are traces of each sitting, sitting under there. I love that about layering. Keeping a piece of each sitting. This is how I paint. I start with just whatever is my mood of the day...but by the time I get into it a form will start to take shape. Sometimes I get far into it, and I don't like it....but I'm far enough into it that I won't change the idea completely.... That's not really the case here. Well, it was, but it's already gone...and I doubt I will stray from the general subject now. Of course the general subject is still up for grabs in some respects. ;) Anyway....just recording progress. :)
