I don't know why I create images, I just do.  I also like writing poems every now and then.

My life has been a series of poems, an abundance of scenes...a myriad of moments that have carried me to where I am today and where I will be tomorrow.  Each painting, and each drawing...regardless how small or how a reflection of me, my memories, the way I see the world, the moments of time I have passed through.

My background was in Theatre until I discovered a great passion for painting, and many of my pieces have developed a reflection of my thoughts and memories from a dramatic, poetic view point.  I am fascinated with taking natural objects and imbuing them with a sense of the human form.  I am influenced by the work of Marc Chagall and Kenneth Patchen.

I am currently 44, living in Kansas with my husband, son (the light of my life), one dog and two cats.
