Returning to old themes....
I have a problem. I never want to throw anything away. Like this pillowcase that keeps popping up in my work. Or these two girls since I made a pattern of them...and have several cut outs of them. So certain things just continue to pop up, but never in a row for some reason.

Well, I had a big throw out session recently - just to clear the deck and get down to what really matters.
But life has a way of slipping back into the same old rut - just like when I am painting, old themes return and I find my hand working in the same old way - I suppose things are changing slowly as we ramble along.
Keep on working it keeps life interesting. Maybe old themes are about who we are - what we believe becomes what we do.
