I miss blogging. I've been incredibly busy for the past month. I've been directing a play for the local arts center...something I've been planning for months. What I didn't plan on was getting the perfect job for me and having it start the same day as the rehearsals for the play. And putting my son in a daycare situation in order to take the job. I needed the job to help pay for buying a house so my family and I can get out from underneath living with my mom as my landlord and hopefully get back to my mom being my mom again someday. All of this brought my carefree blogging time to a crashing halt. A week ago or so I was lurking around on my xanga and found some friends up late. I told them I'd take a pic of me and my boy since he was basking in the glow of having mama actually home, and staying up late. I posted it over there and didn't even think about how it would be perfect for this challenge. It was a perfect moment. I got him a little tent so he could have his own little space. We've been living in the basement apartment until we find a house and he currently doesn't have his own room. Oh yeah, we moved down here about a week before the play and the job started. :) I probably still won't be around much because now we've found a house! And now we have to start the process of actually buying it! But oh, Julie, Julie, JULIE!!!!....It is PERFECT! I can't wait to share it with my blogging friends....when it happens...prayers and crossed fingers please! Oh, I hope it all works out....Anyway...the subject was me and H. Dawg having a good time a week ago being silly in the tent. Enjoy.

I remember your Nov. 1st post last year...I'm not bored with it...

I remember, b/c it is my brother's bday. He is why I moved to Dallas.

How are you these days? Do you ever listen to Keren Ann? Light, sort of folky. For some reason, she sometimes reminds me of you...I think that you might sound like that if you were on a record!

R you in the same part of town? I miss that town, although I like living in an urban neighborhood...I still miss how quaint M-town is. My H and i sometimes think about ending up back there...I think I would go for near the post office. I like that school, WW. Used to live across the street from it, and the kids would knock their ball into my yard. "Hey LADY!"

I want to start a recycled goods & fair trade store someday. Come with!
