The great experiment begins....

edited to add: I really want to get this "buy now" button right, and I don't seem to be able to determine if it will let you buy anything w/ the button if you are outside of the United States. Naturally, I don't want to sell something and then have the shipping be more than I calculated. Not that I'm going to get a run on people purchasing through the U.K. or something...but you never know, and it's important to remember that Canada is not part of the U.S.. (Lucky them...) Soooo....I am suspending that darned "Buy Now" button until I can get it figured out. However....rest assured...if you ever see something that you would like to buy that I post here, just give me a holler. (That means you do not have to purchase this from my Etsy shop if you don't want to...) In the meantime, I am going to show you how I listed this in my Etsy shop for the time being...

This was to be a page in a children's book that I never got around to writing. I still love the image though...who knows, maybe someday I will write it. ;)

The original is done in gouache and pastels on watercolor paper. It is not for sale. (Like I said...maybe I'll still write that book!)

This is a limited edition printing of this piece on 11"x14" Epson Premiere Matte paper using Epson Ultrachrome 9800 K3 inks. The archival guarantee is 85 to 100 years. The image size itself measures 8 3/4"x12". The third photo is intended to give you more of an idea of the amount of white border surrounding the image, and supposing a three inch mat or frame. The black will not appear on the print ordered.

I will only have 20 of this size printed. This is 1/20 and will be signed by me on the lower right, front corner and numbered, in pencil. If you would prefer to have it signed on the back, please leave a message for me when checking out in the "message to seller" box.

SHIPPING: I find it almost impossible to estimate International shipping costs. I would be delighted to send any art Internationally. However, at this time I must ask that any International customer contact me first so that I can develop an accurate shipping cost for you. Customs and duties will be the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

I prefer to ship all prints Priority w/ insurance.

I love your painting, Miriam. There are some paintings we do that are just keepers, aren't they?
I, too have been struggling to figure out the pay now button and shipping. It is difficult when our clients can be from all over the world. Hope you can figure out a workable solution soon!
