It's good to be happy...

This is me and my one of my very best friends. We've known each other since our college days and now live far away from one another and rarely get to see each other. She's a "New Yorker" now and I have remaind a Kansas girl. Recently she came for a visit to my neck of the woods to visit with her family. She's one of those friends where you can not have spoken for ten years and you'll still pick up right where you left off. While both of you have changed over the proverbial time...as your friendship goes you have stayed exactly the same. I hope anyone reading this has one of those. A good friend is hard to find, and keep, the older one gets. I love this photo because of the contrast of how I am apparently loathe to wear make up, and She is not. We are a perfectly matched odd couple. I hope she will be a part of my life forever.

SPC here.

Great to have such (a) friend. It's good to be able to hook up and know your friendship persists despite the distance and time apart.

Those type of friends are valuable indeed.

Besides, who couldn't be friends with someone who has such cool shades?
